In plain terms
This website, sellingtoher.com, is operated by Selling To Her LLC, a limited liability company based in Miami, Florida, United States. For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@sellingtoher.com.
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it. Depending on which form you use, that may include:
Where you purchase a product, our payment processor, Stripe, collects the payment and billing information needed to complete the transaction, along with your name, email address and phone number. Stripe passes us your name, email address, phone number, the industry you choose and a record of what you bought, so that we can deliver the edition of the course made for your industry and email you the link to your downloads. So that you do not have to choose your industry twice, this site remembers it in your own browser; it is not sent anywhere until you check out. We never receive or store your full card details.
When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, your email address and what the call is for, and your phone number and any notes if you choose to give them.
Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics automatically record limited technical information when you visit: the pages you view, the approximate region you are in, the type of device and browser you use, and the site that referred you.
We use this in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with your contact details for advertising.
This matters enough to state on its own. The Female Revenue Gap Calculator performs every calculation locally, in your browser. While you use it, the conversation counts and revenue figures you enter are not transmitted to our servers, not written to a database, and not logged.
If you ask us to email your result, the figures you entered are sent to our server together with the name, email address and any other details you give in that form. The server recalculates your result from those figures, creates your one-page PDF, and emails it to you. Selling To Her™ receives a copy of your result and your details. We also keep your details and your result in our database, so that we can send you a short series of follow-up emails, which you agree to by ticking the box on that form, and see which conversations have already started. We record when you ticked it and the words you agreed to. The follow-ups stop the moment you buy The Strategic Fix, book a call, or unsubscribe using the link in any of them. The same applies if you type your figure into an inquiry form. None of this happens unless you choose it.
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not trade, rent or license our contact list.
However, we use advertising and retargeting technology on this site. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, and under several other US state privacy laws, disclosing identifiers to an advertising platform so it can show you relevant ads elsewhere is treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, and in some states as a “sale”, even where no money changes hands. We want to be straightforward about that rather than rely on the narrow meaning of the word sold.
You have the right to opt out. See section 10 and section 11.
We do use service providers who process information on our behalf, under contract, and only on our instructions. These currently include:
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States or elsewhere. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, this means your information may be transferred outside your home jurisdiction.
Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, or an applicable adequacy decision.
Wherever you live, you may ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to contact@sellingtoher.com.
If the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information for money. We do share it for advertising in the sense described in section 6, and you can opt out of that at any time, as described in section 11. The other rights apply too, and we honor them.
Residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and Florida, have broadly equivalent rights, and we apply the same process to all requests.
We respond to verified requests within thirty days, or forty-five where a state law allows longer. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, which we will do using the information we already hold rather than by asking for new documents.
We use three kinds of cookie and similar technology.
Advertising and retargeting technology involves disclosing an identifier associated with your device to the advertising platform. Those platforms act as independent controllers for what they then do with it, under their own policies.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through a cookie banner before setting any analytics or advertising cookie, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time. Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you choose.
If you are in the United States, you can opt out of advertising and retargeting at any time using the link in section 11. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal, so if your browser sends GPC we treat that as a valid opt-out without you needing to do anything else.
You can additionally block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will continue to work.
To opt out of advertising and retargeting, or to exercise any other right in this policy, email contact@sellingtoher.com with the subject line Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or use the cookie settings control on this site.
We will action an opt-out within fifteen business days, and we do not require you to create an account or verify your identity in order to opt out.
We send email only to people who asked for it. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We do not add inquirers to a marketing list simply because they contacted us.
This site is intended for professional adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen, or knowingly share the personal information of anyone under sixteen for advertising. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to us and we will delete it.
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, and access controls proportionate to a small business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do keep the amount of information we hold deliberately small.
If we change this policy materially, we will update the effective date at the top and, where the change affects how we use information you have already given us, tell you directly.
Questions, requests, or complaints: contact@sellingtoher.com. We would rather hear from you first, but you always retain the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Some are needed to run the site. We also use analytics, and advertising cookies that let us show you our advertising elsewhere. Privacy Policy.
Change these at any time from the link in the footer. Your choice is stored on this device only.
Required for the site to work and to remember this choice. Cannot be switched off.
Tells us which pages are read, in aggregate. Never used to identify you.
Lets advertising platforms show you our advertising elsewhere, and measures whether it worked. US privacy law treats this as sharing your personal information.
